Real moments. Real emotions. No stiff poses.

If you are planning something a little offbeat or unconventional — a backyard dinner, a forest ceremony, a mountaintop elopement — you’re my kind of people. You care more about joy and connection than perfection, and that’s what makes your day beautiful.

Hi! I’m Jessica.

With 12 years of photography and film experience at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, I’ve honed the art of capturing genuine emotion. I bring that same approach to weddings, making sure every glance, laugh, and quiet moment is preserved.

I moved to Nelson, BC in 2022 for the mountains, the people, and the culture of the Kootenays. I’m focused on creating a photography practice that feels true to me, capturing moments between families, friends, and free spirits.

She captured every emotion and candid moment without ever feeling intrusive.

We had a very small and intimate wedding on a remote island accessible only by canoe. Jessica knew exactly when to give direction to get the perfect picture without intruding on the event.

From tender moments to total rockstar energy, I’m in the background catching it all.
